A consent banner collects consent. It doesn't guarantee that it's respected.
A banner can store the visitor's choice correctly, while analytics and marketing scripts load anyway: before the visitor chooses, or after they reject. This often comes from tags added later, embedded content or a tag manager setup. Nothing on the page shows it, so it usually goes unnoticed.

Do I need to change my consent banner?
No.
Do you need access to our website?
No. We see what any visitor sees.
Does it work on every website?
Almost always. On some websites, security settings block the check. Then we help you adjust them, or add a small script to your website. If neither is possible, we refund your payment.
What happens if you find something?

Your banner collects consent. PrivacyKit guards enforce it.
Many consent banners collect consent but don't enforce the visitor's choice. They leave that to a developer who connects each script to the banner, or to Google Tag Manager. If neither is in place, scripts load regardless of consent. PrivacyKit guards wrap your tracking scripts and embeds and read your banner's choice through Google Consent Mode v2, so nothing inside them loads until the visitor has consented.
Your banner must send Google Consent Mode v2 signals when the visitor makes a choice. Most consent platforms support Consent Mode, but it's often switched off. Without these signals, the guards keep everything blocked: your website stays compliant, but analytics and marketing stay off. Not sure about yours? Book a call.
